Redundant Fiber Path to Kinnick Stadium
BDC Group Inc. helped build a redundant/diversified fiber path to Kinnick Stadium in Iowa City. Should any kind of outage occur, traffic would be routed on another path to prevent any interruption of live service. This path was created on an existing fiber network in Iowa City.


Network Expansion with Telecom Shelters
BDC Group Inc. helped provide a deployment of 40 telecom shelters throughout the state of Texas on various customer fiber rings. Multiple tenants had power equipment located inside the shelters. These refurbished shelters included full build outs with equipment racks, DC plant, HVAC systems and power equipment. Our team also provided full logistics services and project management to close out all sites.


Custom Concrete Shelter
BDC Group Inc. helped fabricate two brand new precast concrete shelters. This customized shelter (40’ L X 20’W) required elite level project management to ensure proper delivery with our logistics and transportation services. This project also included the installation of a gable roofing system, shelter foundation and the installation of an all new building grounding system.

Tower Decommission
BDC Group Inc. was hired to remove a 160 foot tower from the roof of a central office. The job required an audit of the tower location, removal and logistics to haul the tower pieces away. Our team fully inspected the tower, arranged dates for the decommission process and coordinated with the tower crew and customer to assure the safety of occupants inside the building. Space also had to be coordinated to lower the tower sections to the parking lot to be cut up and hauled away at a later date.


New Shelter, Generator and Site Build
BDC Group Inc. helped create a full turn-key site build that required a generator and precast concrete shelter to house power equipment. The internal equipment housed inside the shelter, provided by BDC, included HVAC systems, fire suppression and an automatic transfer switch. Our project management team worked closely with our client to initiate, plan, execute, monitor and close out the project in Virginia.


84 Count Night Cut Relocation
BDC Group Inc. was hired for a night cut to relocate fiber due to ongoing road improvements. Our team was asked to splice existing aerial fiber to a newly placed buried fiber cable. The existing fiber network consisted of cell tower communications, emergency 911 communications and redundant paths to prevent any interruption of live service.


New Shelter and Generator Relocation
BDC Group Inc. helped relocate a precast concrete shelter and generator, including full turn-key construction site preparation. The scope of work included the relocation of a new 12’x24’x10′ precast concrete shelter, 50 KW diesel generator and civil construction consisting of grading, concrete, grounding, craning, fence and rock.


Fiber Long Haul
Our OSP Construction crews are taking part in a long-term fiber optic project that includes hundreds of miles of fiber installation including boring, plowing, general construction and fiber splicing services.


Network Upgrade
Our tower crew helped provide wireless infrastructure upgrades for a tower site in Williamsburg, Iowa.


Full Site Build
Our team provided a variety of turnkey solutions to help support the build out of a new broadband network in Vinton, Iowa. BDC Group helped create a custom newly fabricated precast concrete shelter, full on-site concrete foundation and logistics for the delivery of the telecom shelter to house important power equipment.


FTTX Service Drop
Our team provided a service drop in a Fairfax neighborhood for a local teleco broadband internet provider. BDC helped dig and run broadband fiber internet straight to the home.


Network Fiber To The Home Expansion
Our OSP construction crews braved the elements and took part in a network fiber to the home expansion project for a local telecommunications service provider that included potholing, boring, plowing, general construction and fiber splicing services.


On-Site Concrete Shelter Refurbishment
This shelter refurbishment was completed for one of BDC Group’s partners in Missouri. BDC’s team provided turnkey services to help our partner keep their shelter and equipment up to par, making sure each component of the site was clean, secure, and operational. Our team was able to complete this on-site refurb project on-time and on-budget.


Fiber Regen Cabinet Platform Build (FRCP)
BDC Group Inc. engineered an exclusive turnkey, plug-and-play, high-grade steel fiber regen cabinet platform design (FRCP) that was assembled in our facility and installed for one of our partners in Texas. Site build included engineering, surveying and civil work. BDC also completed power up and testing.


Used Concrete Shelter Refurbishment
BDC Group restored this concrete shelter to make it look brand new, inside and out. Renovations included new exterior paint, interior cleaning, new floor tile as well as electrical work, and brand new HVAC units.


Telecommunications Site Refurbishment
BDC Group’s electrical division provided power to the cabinet and meter as well as poured foundations for two cabinets and installed them on-site. BDC also installed a handhole outside the compound to provide conduit to the interior distribution cabinets as well as equipped an array of brand new internal power equipment inside one of our partner’s telecommunications buildings.
